Roden is back at 1/35 with an Opel Blitz 3.6-47 type W39 Ludewig – German staff bus of the WWII period. It was designed on the chassis of the well-known Opel Blitz three ton truck.
One of the most popular trucks at this time was the well-known Opel Blitz, and on its chassis was designed a standard army bus.

The Ludewig firm was engaged in designing the bus, was located in Essen and had great experience in the manufacture of civilian multiseat vehicles.

The standard chassis of the three ton truck was extended a little bit (up to 4450 mm), and the frame structure was reinforced.

Inside the cabin were several rows of seats which could be easily demounted if necessary (transportation of bulk goods, medical equipment, etc.).

This kit will have decals for three versions:
WH-341709, unknown unit, France, middle 1941.
WH-265451, Estern Front, unknown medical unit, early 1942.
WH-751731, Afrika Korps, Tunisia, early 1943.

Talk about magic school bus! This'll be a good addition to an evac dio.

Roden kit nr 807 (or 808 for a "late" version) is the straight bus (with bus interior) and maybe that would be more suitable for an evacuation diorama. Images borrowed from Scalemates I think one major difference is the recessed spare wheel holder on the late version. Image borrowed from LINK The command/office version will be a nice addition to the stash though I like that roof-rack / Robin

Slight correction: The bus was built on a specialized extra long and lowered Blitz frame. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I would add the generator trailer to this offering and the diaorama possibilities would be amazing.
