When at Telford this year I came across a person advertising a new product aimed at war gamers playing flames of war and war hammer. After taking a look at the product I had a light bulb moment which is the result of many of us living in small properties or attending events and displaying our work. Take a look at the diorama suggestion inside.
The diorama base product we are looking at here folds up into a cube, and it is that which makes this ideal for war gamers, but what about the modeller here who perhaps takes several models to an event and wants to display them on a diorama base. You have a couple of options here in that you could have a single fold out diorama base, but it would have lines around the edges of each panel. For me the best idea is to use this to display eight models at a time, and when attending events it means that your diorama bases are protected and easily transported, plus kept dust free. The other plus for me is that the panels could be made in a number of size options if there is a call for it.

Gamein5D was not selling their product, but they were looking for investment in the idea via kickstarter. If the idea of having a stake in this idea getting off of the ground is of interest to you then here is your chance. Gamein5D have a web page that is linked at the top of the page, the link to the kickstarter page is:

I have only seen one size so far, but I see no reason why larger squares could not be manufactured if the market forces were there. The only consideration would be the height of elements used and their placement on the various boards.
