Panzershop has almost ready their conversion for a MAZ -543 Crane in resin.
using Trumpeter's Smerch or Scud kits as a base, it adds a huge crane. The set contains resin parts, photo-etch, instruction, transparent pars for windows and a CD-Rom. Crane is movable.

Note that these are in-progress photos of the model and the final version may change.

Impressive model and perhaps impressive pricetag?

The Trumpeter Scud base kit on its own is not exactly cheap (70-90 Euro) and I'd expect this add-on to be at least the same price as their KET-T or JT-34 conversions (50-70 Euro). So with 120-160 Euro not everybody's darling. According to their website they also plan a crane based on the MAZ-537 which is about 30 Euros cheaper for the base kit. Still, great news! A very attractive, not everyday model.

Maybe a second-hand 1:1 one would be comparatively cheaper H.P.

I will say that I am looking forward to it, if I can find a way to afford the expected hefty pricetag.

Agree Mike, but I did get their logger conversion set for the Ural 4320, it is not upto their normal standards, very little detail i.e hose pipes for HIAB, control rods, poorly cast wheels (hubs fell apart had to rebuild and get a friend to recast for me)!
