You're surely right about the arty round but in the set you also have a tank gun round which doesn't weigh that much. Olivier

Here is the photo the figure is based on:
The figure: The issue is the round. In the WWII pic, the Soldier is holding a 155mm round; about 95 pounds. The figure appears to be holding an 8" (203mm) round, which weighs about 200 pounds.

Yeah unless this figure was a champion dead-lifter, there's no way the figure would be lifting that weight so "happily." And the proportions do look odd. Larger hands than normal it looks like to name one...

The issue if you compare the figure with the prototype photo is the center of gravity. The figure should have the round closer to his torso and to our left/his right, with his right arm not angled out from his torso as much. And maybe slump the shoulders a bit as most scale figs look like they are standing at attention. J

Thank you Captain Obvious.
He does that nearly all the time. He may very well be the actual Captain.

A bit like the Mk 35 civilian carrying a pig. No understanding of weight at all. It only makes sense if the pig is inflatable https://www.modernarmies-in-miniatures.de/civilian-carrying-a-little-pig-1-35_mk35-editions_f156.html

Maybe the pig flies by levitation and the farmer is merely giving him a quick hug before he goes home.
