Italeri has several new kits this month, of different types, eras and scales. Two of the are from the Gulf War 25th Anniversary series.
Reference 6097 is a ZIS-3 Russian antitank gun at 1/72. The ZIS-3 was the most produced gun of the Second World War. Reliable and with a low profile, this 76mm gun armed also the famous T34/76. The box has 2 guns and 12 (6+6) figures

Reference 6117 is a Battle Set box, in this case commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Gulf War. You can find inside kits of an M1A1 Abrams and a T-62 tanks, and also a AH-1W Supercobra and Mil Mi 25 helicopters, all of them at 1/72.

Reference 15758 is an M10 US Tank Destroyer at 1/56 scale, with completely new moulds. There are decals for two versions and you can choose between US or Commonwealth crews (3 figures of each).

Finally, reference 6539 is a LAV-25 Piranha, in another Gulf War 25th Anniversary special edition. There is no mention of any improvement or change on the kit other than the new decals.

Really?? They are just reissuing a model to honor an event. Where is there disrespect there? Sure it is not the best LAV kit, but not the worst either.

The cobra is the old mold also. I do agree it's a lazy cashin using old molds. I wouldn't say disrespect but to certain point if it's lazy then it's disrespectful. Would have been nice to have new molds on all kits either before and then the this master set or start with the master set then sell individual boxings for years to come. At least that is how I would have rolled with it.

Used to be one of the main brands in the 1970's but it never left the decade. It's the 21st Century, time to catch up to the likes of Bronco, Dragon and others don't you think?

You must have a pretty rough life then by feeling disrespected at every turn; Christmas sales, Remembrance Day sales, Boxing Day sales, etc., etc., etc.... The world is full of disrespect!!

Gino..You hit the nail on the head. They are just releasing a kit of a Gulf War vehicle that they have molds of. I don't think you or I expect them to create all new updated molds just to honor the vets.
