D-Day Miniature Studio shows us their latest 1/35 scale figure, still in progress.
Sculpted by Pawel Krasicki, the figure shows a very young Hitlerjugend boy in standard HJ uniform. This is the first figure in this theme, with the total of four Hitlerjugend figures from the last days of war planned.

NICE! I like the youthful face, and the properly-proportioned adolescent features of the figure, itself. Too many sculptors get kids wrong, i.e, they sculpt them as undersized adults. Another pet peeve of mine: I wish sculptors would do underweight, overweight, and some politically-incorrect "ugly" people, instead of the tiresome "movie-star"-genre of figures that we've been inundated with over the years... Some food for thought- This Hitler Jugend kid could also be modeled as holding an HJ Standard resting on his shoulder, as opposed to the panzerfaust...
