The last news story we published on Assault Models was only a week ago, and now we have an update with 3 new figures in 1/35 scale coming soon. A real treat for all fans of modern US troops.
After releasing two US Army Paratroopers individually (AM35005 & AM35008), the figures are also available in a 2-figure set:

AM35a03 - Set: 2 Paratroopers, XVIII Airborne Corps of the US Army

Also, the USMC figure we reported a week ago received his pair as:

AM35006 - Machine Gunner, USMC, Afghanistan 2012

and the two figures (AM35006 & AM35009), are available in a 2-figure set:

AM35a04 - Set: 2 Infantrymen, US Marine Corps

Finally two completely new 1/35 scale figures are in progress:

AM35007 - Machine Gunner, USMC, 2015

This figure was designed by 3D scanning a real equipped person. Wow!

AM35010 - Tankman, US Army, 2015

The photos are available in this news story, but you can also check the 360-view of these figures on Assault website: http://assaultmodels.com

Glad to see more A'stan figures. Would love to have a resin USMC tanker or two as well.

Wow, some of the poses are pretty unique and unusual! These figures also look a lot more natural and realistic. Great job, Assault Models!

the figures look outstanding. It would be good to get a few that are in like a group of 4 or 5 and lock them all into a diorama scene.Overall ,nice quality and good detail.Well done Assault Models.

Its really nice that resin figure companies are making modern machine gunners and riflemen with grenade launchers, figures often ignored before. I hope future modern figures will include Javelin ATGM and rocket launcher gunners as those figures still have been ignored by the figure companies.

For the USMC Machine Gunner with the M240 on his back, I've a few questions since I haven't been keeping up with modern times myself. * Doesn't the USMC use the M240G without the top perforated barrel handguard? I thought the barrel handguard makes it a US Army M240B. * Do machine gunners carry M-16A4 rifles as well? I always thought machine gunners just carry pistols for self defense. I never knew of any machine gunner being a rifleman as well since the machine gun and MG ammo weighs so much that negates carrying any other weapon besides a sidearm. I'm not saying that the figure is inaccurate, just that it has some interesting features I wonder about. Thanks in advance for the answers.
