ICM has announced that their offering of the Typ 320 (W142) Saloon, WWII German Staff Car is heading to the shelves now. This is another area of the hobby where ICM is leading the field, the number of 1/35th scale cars and staff cars must be one of the largest selections from a single company.
The Typ 320 (W142) Saloon, WWII German Staff Car that ICM has now started shipping. The model is listed as 100% all new mouldings and so as ICM continue to improve their moulding processes this is one of their models I look forward to seeing.

I'd like to see this, and other recent ICM auto kits, released in 1/24 as was the G4. These kits fill a niche in both scales.

Hi, Josef! Darren showed this ICM Mercedes Benz typ 320 W-142 a week or two ago with other new ICM releases, and back then, I said nearly the same thing you say here! We're thinking along the same lines! I LIKE THIS CAR!!! It reminds me of an American "Gangster Car"!!! I also mentioned that the 320 was a definite step up from the 170 for German Officers. Mine will be painted in either Semi-Glossy, FELDGRAU (actually a bit more glossy than "semi-flat), Semi-Flat PANZERGRAU, (a bit more flat than the aforementioned Semi-glossy FELDGRAU), or Glossy SCHWARZ!!! Oooh- A BLACK GESTAPO Car!!! German Officers in Leather Coats can easily be converted into "GESTAPO-Types". I just might build all three! For those that are interested, ICM will also be releasing an "Early" SU-122, with Interior...
