ICM continue to announce injected moulded figures, that I suspect most like me never thought we would see. This time around it is a set of Finnish Ski Troops in 1/35th scale.
On the figure front ICM just keeps going from strength to strength when it comes to the unusual. This figure set features three Finnish ski troops from World War Two with a reindeer being used as a pack animal. If the figures look as good as they appear here then this will be an exceptional set, I especially like the look of the reindeer.

Want that in Metric or US?
Are there any scale plans out for the sleigh?
Not that I know of. There are too many variations, especially in American childrens' books. I would go with "Twas the Night Before Christmas" books... I personally would refer to illustrated versions printed in the 1890s... These would be eminently more desirable than today's offerings... In any case, this new vignette makes for a very long overdue interesting and different subject. "The Winter War" between Finland and the Soviet Union needs more coverage on the modelling scene... This was a very fierce and bloody conflict of survival of tiny Finland against the Soviet Giant. Perhaps ICM or some other enterprising model company could give us a "concealed" Finnish Lahti Anti-tank Rifle Team..?
