Typ 320 (W142) Saloon, WWII German Staff Car
ICM working on a new 1/72nd scale staff car are also working on something for the 1/35th scale modeller in the form of a new staff car. The latest kit in the works from ICM is the Typ 320 (W142) Saloon, WWII German Staff Car.
When it comes to models from ICM it is the attention they pay to areas such as the chassis and engine detail, these details are usually of a very high standard and a great benefit to anyone who likes to have these attributes seen or even those who are into showing wrecked vehicles. I have always been impressed with the finesse of parts considering that ICM does not at this time provide photo etch in their kits.

Thanks for the "Heads-up", Darren! Been waiting for this one for the last few years, now. The Mercedes 320 was a decided step up from the 170, as far as German Staff Officers were concerned...

Chrome Headlight Bezels, Grille Shell, Door Handles and Hub Caps would be nice, too... Wish ICM had done that with their 1/35 G4s... For that matter, a 1/24 M/B 320 would be nice as a companion piece to their 1/24 G4 kit!
