Dr. Robert Manasherob has informed Armorama of the latest title coming from him covering the ever popular Israeli Armour. This time it is the third volume in the popular Lioness and Lion of the Line series.
This book is volume 3 in the “Lioness and Lion of the Line” series on Israeli Sherman tanks in IDF service and covers the M50 and M51 Sherman tanks and their operation in IDF including the story of the M51 tanks upgrade to the Cummins diesel engine.

Authored by Dr. Robert Manasherob, a world recognized expert on Israeli military tanks and vehicles, this book contains dozens of new and never published photos, new and accurate info and facts, results of several years of research, 1/35th scale drawings, color profiles, more than 170 photos including action photos, crew photos, walk around photos, unique markings and illustrations.

And for those keeping score at home, there are already at least 3 volumes of this series available. The Volume number refers to Robert's planned sequence of these books and not necessarily to the chronology of the vehicles in time or the sequential release of the books. Just a heads up. Paul

Dear Paul Actually there are already 8 volumes of the Lioness and Lion of the line serial Volumes 1, 2 and 3 dealing with M50 and M51 tanks and they are in chronological order regarding those tanks. Volume 5 deals with the First IDF Sherman and covers M4A2 and M4 tanks in 1948-9 period. Volume 6 deals with the Early IDF Sherman and covers M4 tanks in 1949 period. Volume 10 covers M51 in SIX DAYS WAR. Volume 12 Covers M1 Sherman part 1 Volume 14 covers M1 SUPER Sherman part 1. Hope it helps Robert Dr.Robert Manasherob LINK LINK
