Meng Models has released a video that leaves the viewer in no doubt as to what they will get with the Russian ZSU-23-4 Shilka Self-propelled Anti-aircraft Gun in 1/35th scale. This looks to be another stunner from Meng Models and I look forward to its release.

I'm not so sure about that. Like I wrote, the video shows one version while the box art shows another. Two in one kit maybe ? Sean

Sold my last DML ZSU 23/4 last weekend, saved teh eduard etch, RB barrels, MK tracks and interior. Looking at this, I might just sell off the interior kit as well. Been so long I am not sure if its the Kirin or the Trax verison. Mike

This is by far the coolest way to advertise a kit!! I wish I could build that fast...

Comparing MENG's video to pictures of HONG's model/cad, what are the differences? I can see: Mengs kit appears to have tracks made from individual links, wheels made from multiple parts, PE up the sides of radar dish supports. Anything else anyones noticed? I guess with time modelers buying both kits and press reviews can give us more info on exactly whats in both kits and how they compare not only inbox but to fit/work needed to build. But right now im leaning towards MENG. I have seen rumours that HONG is MENG, released to make the MENG kit look good, although why theyd bother with the expense of doing all that when the MENG kit so far looks great and would have flown of the shelves anyway! Maybe kit pricing, but i doubt they are the same.

Yes looks great but would prefer you to release your Scud!! These coming soon/ release things can take years or not come out at all so I only believe it when I see it in the shops I bit worried about more m1s/ m1a2s on the way How about something not done before maybe 1/16 kettenkrad or 1/16 German motorbike sidecar

Scratch building slat armor. Hmm... I already intend to do the turret interior. Maybe I will try the slat armor on the Hong release. The balls and chain are easy enough to get a hold of.
