Bronco Models has very quickly released news of the Horsa Mk II following the release of the Horsa Mk I.
The main difference between the Mk I and Mk II Horsa is the ability of the Mk II to open its nice for ease of loading of vehicles. There are no figures announced to accompany this kit, but I hope that Bronco Models will release a separate crew and some paratroopers to man this model in time. Having seen the first offering I believe this kit will be just as nice as that offering and it will also be easier to show a Jeep loading, unloading or stored on the Horsa.

open it's nose?

I hate to be a killjoy, but I can see plenty wrong with this one. You can't use a Mk1 glazing on a Mk2 as the whole nose was much more pointed, there were fewer glazing bars and the central keel rib was deeper as it had to carry the control cable runs. Hell's teeth, from the bulkhead forward the Mk2 nose was a totally new design with very few parts in common. On the otherhand they appear to have got the modifications to the main fuselage correct although I just can't make out if they've changed the landing skid shock absorber to the steel spring version.

It would be nice if the nose could be opened and closed after assembly so the crew and jeep could be seen-and for diorama options.
