To finish our news on Black Dog until their next release batch I have decided to end on a high. The two products looked at here provide a quick way of hiding you CV90 or converting the M1083.
The CV9035NL by HobbyBoss gets a makeover from Black Dog that adds an interesting look to the finished model. The hessian tape camouflage would take a lot of hours to add for the modeller and this set greatly reduces the effort required by the modeller to replicate this camouflage. The only other option I would like to see is for the hessian camouflage to have some movement and so making it possible to replicate a vehicle on the move.

The M1083 by Trumpeter is provided with the option of making it a gun truck. This resin conversion set really alters the look of the M1083 and while this is not my cup of tea I do like that Black Dog has also provided items such as backpacks which add some life to the model as well as making the major changes.

T35139 - 135 CV9035NL hessian tape for Hobby Boss €28.60
T35140 - 135 M1083 GUN TRUCK conversion set for Trumpeter €22.00

Here are a couple of links to the CV9035 NL that Black Dog may have used to create the camouflage master. It looks like a demo vehicle but the resin hessian scrim looks excellent and should really stand out when it is attached and painted. http://www.primeportal.net/apc/erik_jan_eskes/cv9035nl_camo/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ex1D-2eHcUA

Unfortunately they're using the HB Danish kit as base, which, despite what it may say on the box, you cannot build as a Dutch vehicle OOB.

Yupp, Hobbyboss managed to get all the designations wrong for this model, starting with the boxtop designation that it is a "Swidish" vehicle (the CV9035 is not used by Swiden or Sweden ). Maybe they will release the actual Dutch version one day. The more CV90's the merrier. Nice set from BD, shame the base vehicle is not correct.
