Mirage Hobby has released the second offering of the Renault UE 2 Universal Carrier that I know of in 1/35th scale. This model could be for those that did purchase the first offering.
This version of the Renault UE 2 Universal Carrier with Tracked Transport Trolley is the French Version. There are no details of the model itself other than the scale and the box art, but Mirage Hobby are usually affordable offerings.

Must have a look around for one of these, yet to buy one in French colours. I have 2 of the German versions, one with a Wurfrahmen rocket launcher on the back and another with some sort of armoured box lashed to it. Interesting little vehicles I think.

******Amazon regularly has them for about $14. They don't have the finesse of the Tamiya kit but they can build up nicely. I usually replace the thick exhaust shield with wine bottle foil.

They're very cheap in the uk too.

For the price in the U.S Where maybe 2% of Tamiya customers are living, yes. The Japanese price is incredibly reasonable for what you get in the kit.
Well, next time I'm at my beach house on Lake Fuji, I'll be sure to pick one up.

I would not want to compare Tamiya and Mirage and really spend more on the japanese kit!
Well if you want to go to insane lengths to support retail then I'll let you, but I'd rather order from one of the many Far East import web stores and get the kit without having to walk more than 50 metres.

Dude, I buy from Asia ALL THE TIME, LOL. Shipping from Japan, tho, is often INSANE. Hong Kong is so much the better option.
