The Horsa that Bronco Models promised some time ago is now nearly ready for its first flight. We finally get to see some of the sprues that will make up this model.
Bronco Models has taken some stick of late about promised releases that never see the light of day, well some will be eating humble pie as Bronco Models releases images of the plastic sprues for this kit. I cannot be sure if this is all of the parts as I know it was intended to provide figures; that said I am pleased to see this progress.

Here's an option to display a Horsa : "Civilian workers pose with sections of an Airspeed Horsa glider, as received from the manufacturers, before assembling it at No. 6 Maintenance Unit, Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, 26 April 1944" : or you can keep the fuselage for this : http://byaki.net/uploads/posts/2010-07/1279143171_tiny_houses_06.jpg and the wings for that : http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p308518937/h127fa321#h127fa321 H.P.

This looks to be great kit and deserves to sell very well. I can see it forming the basis for lot's of dioramas, even if it is used chopped up. I'm a huge fan of the airborne divisions so I'd love to get this. Will my better half kill me if I did? Possibly Luckily I have one in a more sensible 1/72 scheme and recently bought the new Airfix Jeep to go with it.
