Our friends at True Earth have just released an online compendium of information on their products and how to use them. This compendium covers all uses of their products on all types of models from filters to rust stains and streaks. This free download will be a great resource for those who are trying out these and other like products and need some advice on how to and when. Also newly released are two different rust applications of the Rust Intense line these being #3 and #4 in the SDW (Slow Drying Waterbased) series. The SDW series is a non oil based, non acrylic paint system that eliminates the issues with some oil and acrylic based paints/filters. What results is a slower drying time, 10 to 20 minutes, that allows the user to move things around and reduce the effect more easily. The result is a semi opaque colour on your model that greatly resembles the real life effects of rust and weather. Both of these are in dropper bottles to easily control the amount of paint you use more easily.
