Why are products from vendors such as these still being posted in the New section. Armorama you are doing a disservice to the members by doing this. I will not deal with Azimut or Best Value and others because of other call poor customer service, I call it theft and fraud.

Just because you don't like them and won't deal with them does not mean others don't/won't. They are new items and should be posted for each member to make up his/her own mind if they want to buy them or not.

Really, not the only one that does not like them or the way they treat their customers. If you search Azimut from the search bar above this is what you get just on the first page of 10. Many of the modeling forums have the same type of threads. LINK LINK LINK LINK LINK LINK LINK

Still no reason not to show them as new products.

There is already president to do that here on this forum. So why Azimut and not Cromwell. Don't get me wrong one vendor is as bad as the other. If you are not going to post news from one vendor because of poor customer service than it should be the same for all of them wheatear they advertise on the site or not(don't know if they advertise on the kitmaker network or not I don't pay attention to the ads). If you allow them to advertise and continue to post new product in the news section given their reputation with many members of the forum are you really any better. Kind of calls the forums credibility into question. Regards, LINK

Took me a while to understand that sentence. You meant precedent of course... Cheers, Christophe

I don't think the site should be picking and choosing who to show new releases for. I don't think we should exclude Cromwell either. Either way it is censorship and not something the site should do. I think we should just show the latest releases and leave it up to the modeler to decide if they want to go through the hassle of buying them or not.

We have stopped covering Cromwell due to all the negativity their news creates. These negative comments have nothing to do with the product and everything to do with their questionable customer service. In the past this has resulted in bad blood between those that have received products and those that have not.

I would tend to agree with Gino, as long as critical posts are not deleted, which they aren't. People here are adults and they can make an informed decision on wether to order/buy or not. Every similar thread will now automatically get remarks of people who got burnt : there is no way someone would be ignorant of potential mail order problems. Cheers, Christophe
