Bronco Models has released news of a new product being released, the new kit being a Vercuchsflakwagen Fur 88mm Flak 37 Auf Sonderfahrgestell.
Another unexpected release from Bronco Models is the second release of a self-propelled 88mm gun and follows the 2013 release. I am a little lost as to what the difference is between this and the original release and so look forward to what the members of Armorama have to say about it.

Here you go Biggles: Carlos can you see the jack in this photo? btw: The 41 that was used on the prototype was surplus and pretty much worn out. Also the 41 was plagued with problem anyway and the 37 was more reliable so the 41 was changed out before being sent to Italy. Tony lee

Hi Toni, Very nice work you did converting it yourself! Yes, I would say the jack is there, as supposed to be with the Flak 37...

Hi - I also built a Flak 37 conversion but wasn't brave enough to give it anything other than a dunkelgelb finish pending photos surfacing from somewhere. Flak41 anyone ?

Hi John, All photos known of both versions show it plain yellow...

So long story short.... what one saw combat? Cant buy both nowadays like I used too. Thanks Rick

Rick, The kit that started the topic is the one (and only vehicle) that saw combat-- the 88 Flak 37 armed variant--and it disappeared somewhere in Italy. The Earlier Flak 41 version likely never saw combat and there was only one of those also. VR, Russ

Tony, thanks for the photo. I've always wanted one of these in 1/35.

What a damned strange chassis. Looks like a combo Pz.IV with some half-track variant.
