There are two new conversions from Best Value Models for French AFV’s, including a tank and an interesting gun truck.
Best Value Models has two new AFV conversions available for French Army fans. The first is a conversion for the Hobby Boss kit to create a Renault R-40. The set will include the base Hobby Boss kit and resin parts, and it is stated to have a detailed interior. The second set is an interesting 75mm gun truck. This set includes the ICM base kit for the Ford truck, resin, and photo-etched parts.

Best Value Models = Azimut. They already did a R40 based on Heller parts with resin parts added under the Ironside label many years ago, this was reissued more recently under the Best Value Models label. Now it seems they have tweaked the parts to release a kit based on the new HobbyBoss R35, however I suspect the painted model featured on the photograph could actually be their older kit? Those tanks were also captured and used by the Germans by the way. Cheers, Christophe

I can confirm that is the older kit in the picture. I think I'd rather work with the HobbyBoss kit, though!

I concur, I have the Ironsides R-40 kit, unbuilt. Looks like its time to sell it and get the HobbyBoss/BestValue offering.
