Bronco Models Have released a 1/35 scale Italian CV3/33 Tankette Series I.
This 1/35 scale multimedia kit comes with both Photo etch and clear parts and should make a good out the box build. The actual vehicle itself was an adaption of the British Carden-Lloyd Tankette and was deployed by the Italians in the North Africa campaign.

Item code:

CB35125 - CV3/33 Tankette Series I (Early Production)

Great to see these "outlier" vehicles coming online.

A typo in your post had me pretty excited. This is the Series II kit which has been out for about a month now. A Series I would be nice if they fix the problems they still have with this release. Roy

This release has me somewhat confused. What is the difference between this one and Bronco's previous kit released several years ago (kit number 35006)? Is this a revamped version of the same kit?

On the face of it nothing, they are the same vehicle but Bronco retooled a lot of the kit so now the transmission access hatch it open, they provided the proper tensioner wheel assembly for an early production vehicle plus some other changes. Still they fell short by not providing all the pioneer tools, they got the bolt layout on the glacis wrong again and a few other short comings. Still overall not a bad kit, just for the money, not an excellent kit. Roy

Thanks Roy, now ai understand. Hopefully they will update the late version kits as well, shame that they didn't quite get it right with this one.
