This is welcome news indeed as the Zvezda kit will benefit greatly from some aftermarket care.

Do they still have that nickel plating, I prefer to solder my PE and I had in the past had problems with Eduard's PE . They refuse to solder unless you sand the plating off .

Look at Set 36229, part 12, the right rear mudguard. The holes are the wrong way around. Set 36256, parts 8 and 9, the S-mine bases. They're all supposed to be the same, with a pointed front. Eduard made 3 of them flat and the other 2 are not pointed enough. Set 36256, part 42, the S-mine arms. They don't closely resemble the real ones. Set 36256, the fan outlet covers. The surrounding frame is broken at the holes, the real ones were unbroken. Set 36256, the fan inlet covers. Notches for the fuel caps are missing. Set 36256, part 40, the loader's hatch arm. The shape is wrong. I can't do a comprehensive review without the instructions. David
