MK35 Editions has sent Armorama news of two new French World War Two Infantry figures due for release in mid July.
These two new figures on their way from MK35 Editions should attract some interest as French World War Two infantry figures are not that common. In addition one of them is depicted carving or painting a model plane, the figure is also having a quiet puff on his pipe while he whittles away at the wood. The other figure is depicted what I believe is a ranging device for directing artillery fire. Both of the figures look very good judging by the pictures and the figure with the model plane is supplied with a base, this gives you an instant vignette.

F218 - FRENCH TROOPS 1939-40 (F218 includes base)

Hi Darren, I was wondering how useable these might be for the 1914-18 War? Nice looking figs. Cheers Al

Well you would not have a monoplane looking like that during WW1 however uniform wise, I am not aware of any major changes to French infantry uniform between the wars. However French infantry of any period are not something I have a lot of information on, and after Germany invaded France free French infantry wore British uniform.

Excellent figures. I'm not an expert on the subject, with with some modifications, and removing the monoplane, they will suit perfectly in a WWI trench.
