MiniArt has a new diorama base in the works which features a portion of a destroyed factory with a base.
MiniArt with this new diorama has something that could see those with a n interest in the Stalingrad battles of World War Two have a diorama in a box. While this latest product is the works does not consist of many elements but I think it would make an excellent display base for any vehicles or figures based on the Eastern Front during World War Two, the supplied base is nicely detailed with a decent amount of space for an AFV to be displayed, and the number of moulding nipples that have started showing up on products from MiniArt has been greatly reduced. The factory portion of the diorama is very nice which with some careful scratch work could provide a nice setting for a Soviet or German sniper to be shown picking out their targets, one thing I would have liked to see in this product is so0me photo etched parts to replicate the tread plate included with the model.

Nice bit. Looks a lot like the factory shown in a lot of pics of Arnhem. J

Really nice scene tied together. But Miniart has to start to adress the bubbles in their vacuforms. From the pictures there seem to be a lot of them. And cutting them off leaves a hole to be filled. Cheers

Another good piece from miniart They are part of the vac form process. I sand them rather than slice them off and have never had a hole to fill as a result. I don't think Miniart will be getting rid of them anytime soon.

Pat I have the Normandy diorama base and there are no nipples present on that and so I believe this is something they have introduced about 18 months - 2 years ago. What I don't understand is why they have introduced this fault to their products as they have proved it is not needed.
