Scale 75 has released a trooper of the 101st Airborne Division in 1944.
Scale 75 is a company that is not covered here very often but this Airborne figure really caught my eye. The figure is a member of the 101st Airborne Division in 1944, the figure is in 1/35th scale and caste in resin or white metal and which is a choice that the buyer makes when ordering. The figure has been sculpted by Jaoquin Palacios and this example is painted by Daniel Serrano.

Some errors, the Double Buckle combat boots weren't on issue for Normandy. They should be jump boots. For Market Garden he would have worn an M43 field Jacket, rigger modified M43 trousers and the double buckle boots. The M42 Jump jacket has no lower pockets The canteen cover with crossover mule ear flaps is a USMC item.

....and he should also have re-inforcing patches on elbows and knees (if this is supposed to be the M42 uniform). All in all, a very disappointing release.
