Some new updates have been announced by CMK, including something in both 1/35 scale and 1/72 scale.
CMK has announced some new items for September, including a modern rifled mortar in 1/35 scale. The modern 120mm mortar designed by Thomson-Brandt is currently used by countries like France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Brazil. Also announced this month are turned metal barrels for the 2cm Flak 38 in 1/35 scale. And for 1/72 scale fans, two updates for the StuG IV, including an engine and driver’s set.

2053 – StuG IV Engine Set (Trumpeter Kit)
2052 – StuG IV Driver’s Set (Trumpeter Kit)

The French mortar is more than welcome Thanks CMK, now we need a good VAB.....

It's used by the USMC as the M327. A look at Wikipedia shows which countries use this mortar so the CMK one has some marketing potential here. The prime mover for the USMC M327 is that odd "Growler" jeep LSV.

The Mo 120 RTF1 is quite nice. It looks to have less parts than the Azimut offering though (for instance the sight). Unfortunately none of them gives the towing hook which is screwed over the muzzle and would permit to show the mortar in travel mode. Olivier
