New from MiniArt, the trucks keep coming. Another version of GAZ truck to add to your collection.
MiniArt has added another GAZ truck, this time around the AA. The GAZ-AA and GAZ-MM were produced in great numbers, with more then 130,000 made. These Ford license trucks were made in Russia, and with the number made, it is no wonder so many found their way into German hands. The MiniArt kit looks great from the photos, and contain two figures.

It looks good, it's been some time since the AA version has been aviable. I keep hearing that the Gaz AA is a russian copy of a Ford truck. How closely are they related - could one just add a Ford lable at tha front, or does it take more than that?

In fact, the GAZ-AA was an upgraded license-built 1929 Ford AA. Here's the Google translation of the Russian Wikipedia article about this truck I guess the most visible difference between the two trucks would be the external horn of the Ford AA Frenchy
