Hello Everyone, Great looking motorcycle figures from Alpine but, l kind of have to agree with Bill's comments, there static! When I heard Alpine was releasing this set, I was hoping to see some action poses like a rider for the cycle and, a passenger for the sidecar. I must say that I was a little disapointed. I think Taesung Harmms is one of the best sculptors in the world, as are many who sculpt for his company, but, l wish we could see some action poses from time to time. Last week I purchased Apine's #35139 Panzer Commander #1 which is an outstanding figure but, is also very static composed. I plan to use a yelling head from Hornet and an open right hand to give the figure the action pose Im looking for, Maybe Alpine could give us the option with a static and action head, hand, arm, instead of the twin head with a different cap or helmet. What do you think ?

Hi guys, Thank you all for taking time to leave comments! The figures were sculpted by Roddy MacDougall. He did an excellent job on these. I did touch them up here and there prior to casting, but all in all they have excellent sculpting quality. When I was discussing these figures late last year with Roddy, I wanted the rider to be able to fit on both BMW and Zundapp to broaden the figure's market possibility. But in riding pose, it was impossible because these bikes were different. Well... I am trying, but it seems like I've failed to satisfy everyone yet once more.

Hey Taesung, I think your work is amazing. Coming from a veteran(different conflict), I think this pose that Roddy did was great. Just need to get my hands on one now.

Hello Taesung, I may have been misunderstood in my last post. Concerning the new Motorcycle set, sculpted by Roddy MacDougall, I was not dissapointed with his sculpting, but, only that they were not in action poses. These figures are extremely well done and I plan to purchase them. In your post you mentioned having the driver figure fit both the BMW and ZUNDAPP, great idea, it gives us a choice. Perhaps we might see figure sets ie: Wehrmacht, WSS, Summer, Winter, for these motorcycle combinations, and, the often forgotten Kettenkrad, from Alpine in the future. On a closing note: Taesung, I have many figures in my collection sculpted by you, starting many years ago with your Pz. IV crew from Warriors. You are very talented and, I enjoy your work very much. Regards, Rick

I stand with VigFig...Alpine figs are excellent!!Quality and sculpting are superb. They are just lacking action.Extra heads with facial expressions, nice idea...I know that I have explained this in the past...PLEASE Alpine give us some action!!!!! Maybe some Russians in winter gear???Maybe some German vehicle(Trucks,Kubels,Horch...etc) drivers and riders in winter gear???Injured soldiers???Dead soldiers??? Once AGAIN....PLEASE!!!!!!!!! I hope this has NOT offended you.It is not intended to,just giving you some ideas to satisfy more customers needs and wants. Taesung...satisfy everyone...LOL....you know that is not going to happen unless you give figs away for free, then some would still not be satisfied. Wish you the best!!!

Gents, Thanks again for the comments. I do appreciate and enjoy reading all comments. Action posed figures tend to give me trouble when casting... as I am struggling with this 1/16 figure on my desk. This one will be quite different from other Alpine figs. It is a 1/16 WW2 USMC bayonet charging. Hope this one will be received well by the "action" group! Cheers TS

Taesung, if not for your figures, my GAZ with Bofors would've been just another boring truck with a gun. Keep doing exactly what you do, the way you do it my friend. Please don't change a thing.
