Thanks, Jim, these are usually very valuable resources. I've reviewed a couple of them, and was very satisfied with the mix of topics and photos.

I've also done a couple and completely agree. MMiR, for example, is IMO, one of the best magazines out there. It's not, a company that gets as high a profile as they should, frankly their publications are as good as anyone does. This was my favorite from the sample pages of MMiR # 55:

Ampersand Publishing's magazines and special features are top notch but I can't say the same about the integrity of their subscription service. After several unanswered attempts to contact them in regards to not receiving issue # 54 of MMiR I finally recieved the notice that all issues were sold out and I would not be receiving that issue but would have to go to purchase it some place else. So much for a prepaid subscription.

Gary, You neglected to mention that we extended your subscription as compensation for the missing issue with our sincere regrets. If you are still unsatisfied, we will happily refund your subscription. Pat MMiR

Why yes he will. And if you are not careful, he might just do it without asking you first. The first rule about MMiR is, don't complain about MMiR. The second rule of MMiR is , don't complain about MMiR. caveat emptor

Love the Allied Axis books. Good quality images and helpful captions. Reasonably priced as well ... compared to magazine prices here in Sweden.

Pat - When do you expect MMiR 55 will be ready for distribution/shipment? I'm starting to see this issue being advertized on various modelling websites but no release date has been provided. Thanks in advance! Carmen
